About The Job

Let's Play is looking for an individual to lead a variety of fun-filled activities and supervise children during our Fun Week programme at Hungerford Leisure Centre, Hungerford. The role involves ensuring children's safety, leading activities, and delivering the programme to a high standard, catering to children of mixed abilities aged between 5 and 12 years.

The daily programme includes activities from our schedule aimed at positively impacting young children. Sessions range from Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building, to Arts & Crafts.

Essential Requirements

• Keen interest and passion for working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
• Experience working at children’s holiday camps and/or childcare settings.
• Willingness to develop skills and practice.
• Punctuality, reliability, and commitment.
• Experience delivering activities to primary-aged children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.

Preferred Requirements

• Clean UK driver’s license.
• Experience and/or willingness to deliver activities like Arts & Crafts, Multi-Sports.
• Completed courses at Sixth Form, College, or University.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate your team to deliver the programme to a high standard.
• Liaise with parents/carers, staff, and Directors regularly.
• Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic, and fun for primary-aged children.
• Create a positive learning environment.
• Deliver coaching programmes consistently to a high standard.
• Follow our philosophy: Fun, Inclusive, & Educational.
• Understand and engage with the individual needs of staff and children.
• Handle first aid/emergency situations.
• Communicate effectively with parents/carers.
• Commit to delivering each session to the best of your ability.
• Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
