About Us

We pride ourselves on being a dynamic, close-knit team that provides specialist stroke rehabilitation and subacute care within a community hospital setting. You will be an integral part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, supporting the care needs of 20 inpatients in a purpose-built hospital located in the picturesque town of Dursley.

Develop your skills in sub-acute medicine, rehabilitation, and palliative care. This position is suitable for candidates starting their career in nursing with no prior experience, as well as experienced carers seeking to enhance their clinical knowledge and skills.

Role Details

Hours per week: Variety of hours available

Interview Location: Vale Community Hospital, Lister Road, Dursley GL11 4BA

Position Responsibilities

• Participate in and assist with the delivery of care/services to patients.
• Provide safe and compassionate care of a high standard under the supervision of registered nurses.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care and nutritional support.
• Take and record observations and undertake supportive tasks such as venepuncture, catheter care, ECG recording, as directed by registered nurses.
