The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly experienced, top-level C-Suite Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a cutting-edge life sciences company. The CEO, who has recently relocated to the UK, is a high-energy, mission-driven leader with a demanding diary and complex international schedule, multiple board responsibilities, and is looking for a trusted right-hand EA to enable him to operate at the highest level.

This role is pivotal to the firm, requiring a trusted EA with high emotional intelligence, resourcefulness, discretion, and excellent attention to detail. You will liaise with the leadership team, global board members, investors, and stakeholders, providing key input into the business. The office is boutique but still in start-up mode, very fast-paced, and requires a professional EA with a proven track record supporting a CEO in a pharmaceutical, medical, life sciences, or start-up environment. This is a chance to make a real impact alongside a CEO who values collaboration, precision, and someone who enjoys being an integral part of the leadership team. The scope is broad, so someone eager to grow and develop skills alongside a team of like-minded high achievers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an intense and ever-changing global calendar, ensuring seamless travel and meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate Board and Investor meetings, including scheduling, logistics, venue sourcing, and preparing board packs.
  • Attend meetings with the CEO and provide concise notes.
  • Liaise professionally with high-profile stakeholders regularly.
  • Stay on top of deliverables across multiple time zones, juggling shifting priorities with ease.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the CEO is fully prepared for all key engagements.

Who You Are

  • You’ve supported a C-suite executive, ideally in a fast-paced boutique or start-up environment.
  • You possess high EQ, resilience, and can work efficiently under pressure.
  • You are a natural multi-tasker with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • You understand board governance, investor relations, and the importance of diplomacy.
  • You thrive in a nimble, high-performance team—hands-on, with a collaborative attitude.
  • A graduate, with a background in medical, pharmaceutical, or related fields, is preferred.
  • You have proven experience managing global travel and scheduling, navigating time zones and frequent changes smoothly.

Why This Role?

  • Join a business at the forefront of science and innovation.
  • Work directly with a visionary CEO.
  • Be involved in high-impact decisions and conversations.
  • Competitive salary and evolving benefits package.

Location: South West London (Hybrid 3/2)

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Wellness Allowance + Pension + 25 days holiday + Bonus + Medical + Life Assurance

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5.30pm (with some flexibility)

This is more than an EA role—it’s a partnership. If you are ready to operate at the highest level and become a key part of a high-growth business, this will be a fantastic opportunity.
