Gas Engineer Domestic Service and Breakdown

£42k salary, with typical earnings of £50-55k. Benefits include a VW van and large company perks. Based in CO and IP postcodes, with interviews and start dates available ASAP.

We are seeking Domestic Gas Engineers for a large housing maintenance company with extensive work in the IP and CO areas. Candidates must be capable of handling breakdowns and servicing all domestic gas boilers.

All team engineers are required to participate in a callout rota, covering 1 day per week, including weekends.

Out-of-hours work is 24 hours, primarily for major water leaks after 10 pm, paid at £40 for incomplete jobs and £50 for completed jobs. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the standard rate, including travel and job completion time.

Opportunities for training and development are available.

Suitable Gas Engineers must hold domestic ACS qualifications for CENWAT, CCN, CKR, and HTR. Additional qualifications in ASHP, OFTEC, or LPG are desirable and may increase salary banding, but are not essential.
