Overall, Purpose of the Role

As a member of PPP-IML's Engineering Support Team (EST), you will deliver high-quality electrical maintenance support across various contracts, enhancing customer experience and the company's reputation.

More about the role:

• Promote a safety culture, complying with health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Ensure electrical maintenance meets qualifications, client service levels, and standards like ISO9001
• Develop core competencies and share best practices among staff
• Complete inspections, maintenance, and repairs promptly, submitting accurate reports within deadlines
• Produce reports, liaise with site Contract Managers, and seek opportunities for improvement
• Manage administration tasks such as work schedules and tickets accurately and timely
• Work flexibly across sites, attending meetings, training, and networking events as needed
• Drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime and reduce costs
• Travel across various UK sites
• Work additional shifts/overtime during peak times
• Follow reasonable requests from your Line Manager

Who you are:

Essential

• Proven experience in a hard facilities environment with knowledge of relevant procedures and legislation
• HNC or BTEC in electrical engineering, IEE 18th Edition
• Qualified to current electrical regulations
• Electrical Inspection and Testing (2395)
• Ability to work independently and in teams to achieve high standards
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with PPM/CAFM systems
• Valid driving license

Desirable

• Previous AP position in electrical systems of work
• Experience with PAT Testing
• Knowledge of project management and budgeting
• Experience in a PFI environment
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification
