What You’ll Be Doing:
As EHS Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting project delivery by identifying hazards and advising on safe systems of work, including the preparation and review of method statements and risk assessments.
- Conducting regular site inspections and targeted audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and legal requirements.
- Promoting a proactive and positive safety culture across all levels of the project, encouraging behavioural safety and continuous learning.
- Engaging with management and workforce to ensure awareness and compliance with licensing conditions, environmental consents, impact assessments, and changes in HSE legislation or guidance.
- Developing and delivering forward-looking safety initiatives, coaching site teams, and contributing to lessons learned activities.
- Providing competent conventional safety advice and supporting injury/incident reporting and investigation processes.
- Working with the client and supply chain to ensure governance and consistency in EHS delivery across the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Need:
- NEBOSH General and/or Construction Certificate is essential.
- Significant on-site construction safety experience, preferably in highly regulated or complex project settings.
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and the Principal Contractor role.
- Experience in incident reporting and investigation, with a methodical, evidence-based approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical and IT skills, with the ability to interpret safety data and trends.
- Membership with IOSH at Technical level (TechIOSH) or higher.
- UK Citizenship is required due to the security-cleared nature of the site.
- Willingness and ability to obtain BPSS and SC or DV clearance, as required by the role.
Rate of Pay
From £45 to £50 per hour.
