Overall Purpose of The Job

• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to draw insights
• Prepare reports and data dashboards for internal and external audiences
• Develop and maintain automated data processes
  
  

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• To analyse vessel performance and emissions data to identify actionable insights and optimisation opportunities.
• To identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• To support the development and improvement of data analytics capabilities
• To ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and analysis activities
• To gather, understand and document business requirements
• Support and lead the various work streams as required
• Attend other V.Group management offices as required

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in maritime, data or a related field
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with Python or similar language for data automation and analysis.
• Knowledge of reporting packages such as PowerBi.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
