Job description

Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join them on a contract basis for 12 months, with potential to extend.

Role: Senior Engineering Project Manager
Location: Stevenage - hybrid with a minimum of 2 days onsite per week
Clearance: SC required to start
Hourly Rate: Up to 60ph via Umbrella, inside IR35

What you'll be doing:

Your role as a Senior Engineering Project Manager (SEPM) is to deliver our most complex and priority projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will drive the design, development, and delivery of highly complex electronic sub-systems, from concept through to full production. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a senior member of the project management team and contribute to our delivery strategy.

Requirements:

• Experience of Project Management best practices: Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Compliance Management, Configuration Management, and Earned Value Management.
• Experience delivering significant projects/programmes on time and within budget.
• Experience managing projects across various phases, from conception and initiation through manufacturing and qualification to customer delivery.
• A background in engineering development of complex systems or electronic units.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence others.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and pride in delivering quality work.
