Job description

Our client has been in operation as a brick merchant, providing cast stone brick arches and other types of niche bricks for over 20 years. They are currently looking for a production operative on a temporary basis at their site between Woodhurst and St. Ives.

The nature of the job includes:

1. Manual labour including stacking and loading bricks
2. Machine operation (using automated machine)
3. Moving stock around site (by hand)
4. Stacking pallets
5. Bonding bricks (sticking bricks together)
6. General yard duties
7. Adherence to PPE requirements and all aspects of site health and safety procedures

The company has stated that although experience in a production environment and a counterbalance forklift licence are advantageous, they are not essential. They are willing to train the right candidate if they show reliability, a willingness to integrate into their team, and a strong work ethic.

You will need to be physically fit and must have your own steel toe capped safety boots.

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00 with 2 x 30-minute breaks per day.
