Field Service Engineer

Location: Towcester

Commutable from Northampton, Silverstone, Milton Keynes, Brackley, Banbury, Buckingham, Daventry

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 + Overtime Available

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00

Our client is a leading liquid processing equipment provider. They work with various companies across the UK, providing solutions, installations, and maintenance on their machinery. They are seeking a multi-skilled engineer who is willing to travel UK-wide (majority of work in the South East) and represent the company professionally on the road. Applicants must be commutable to their office in Towcester.

Role & Responsibilities:

• 70/30 site visit work; majority of clients in South East (Kent, Surrey, Essex, etc.). UK travel required (expenses paid).
• Installation, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of food and beverage machinery.
• Work on pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, single and three-phase power, industrial electrics.
• Electrical wiring and inspection to ensure H&S standards.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform planned maintenance.
• Work in a team of two, reporting to the hiring manager.
• Document actions and procedures taken.
• During downtime, manage stock and planning responsibilities outside of office hours.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Must be within a commutable distance from the office.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard hours.
• Strong electrical skills and knowledge.
• Food or drink industry experience is desirable.
• Aspirational individual looking to learn and grow within the company.
• No more than 3 points on driving license.
