Are you aspiring to become a teacher? Do you want to gain classroom experience as a Cover Supervisor before undertaking your teacher training? If so, then this Cover Supervisor opportunity could be perfect for you!

Remedy Education is working with excellent secondary schools in and around the South East London area, currently recruiting for experienced Cover Supervisors. We are looking to appoint proactive, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals to supervise lessons and support students' learning. This role involves maintaining the schools' high standards of behaviour when teachers are absent.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with previous experience in education or for a graduate looking to start their career. There are also extensive opportunities to support children with SEN if this is an area of interest or passion for you.

Main responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor will include:

1. Managing the behaviour of the class to ensure students are working in a constructive learning environment.
2. Supervising the work set by the subject teacher.
3. Acting as a role model and developing productive relationships with students.
4. Demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding and the health and safety of students.

Ideal candidates will have:

1. Previous experience working in a school setting.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. The ability to manage challenging behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
5. A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students in their learning.
