Job description

The role sits within the Business Intelligence team within Future. The team is guiding the business to become more data-driven.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of the capability development division of Data & BI, working across data services at Future, including insights, data enablement, automation, and data products. Responsibilities include providing insights to senior stakeholders, streamlining data processes, delivering data-driven products, and empowering business users with tools and training. This role combines analytical expertise with enthusiasm for cross-functional projects. You will report to the Head of Data Capability Development.

  • Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and translate these into requirements for data products.
  • Develop scalable data pipelines using tools like Dataform for efficient data flow.
  • Identify and improve bottlenecks in existing data processes.
  • Lead and manage data projects effectively.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc and project-based data initiatives.
  • Automate repetitive reporting and analysis tasks.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • Experience as a data analyst or in digital analytics, audience, sales, advertising, eCommerce, subscriptions, or marketing is desirable.
  • Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (e.g., BigQuery, Looker / Looker Studio, Google Sheets).
  • Ability to produce insightful and user-friendly reports.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Product mindset with the ability to gather requirements from stakeholders.
  • Motivation to make the organization more data-driven.
What's in it for you

The salary range is £45,000 - £55,000.

This is a hybrid role based in our Bath Office, working three days in the office and two from home.
