An established industry player is seeking a temporary Occupational Health Advisor to join their expanding OH team. This role, requiring a minimum of three days on-site, focuses on delivering high-quality occupational health services while ensuring compliance with policies. Salary: Circa £48,000 or hourly rate equivalent, depending on experience
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site per week due to workload classification)
Security Clearance: Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS). Restrictions related to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
Position Overview:
We are expanding our Occupational Health (OH) team and seeking a temporary Occupational Health Advisor for up to 6 months, with potential part-time options. The role requires a minimum of 3 days on-site (Tuesday-Thursday).
The OH & Wellbeing Team is dedicated to safeguarding employee health and wellbeing, providing comprehensive services through internal and external resources.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality occupational health services, ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements, and adapting to the evolving needs of MBDA UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in pre-placement assessments, health surveillance, case management, lifestyle screening, triage, and query response is essential. The candidate should possess solid clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a broad range of occupational health nursing experience, preferably with SCPHN qualification and significant experience in complex case management. Strong interpersonal skills including motivation, negotiation, relationship building, and influencing are required.
