Fabricator Welder

Location: Marden, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm
Salary: Up to GBP20 P/H, more for self-employed

Our client, a leading steel fabrication and engineering company based in Marden, is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their innovative and growing team. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform fabrication and welding tasks on mild steel and stainless steel projects.
2. Work on vessels, pipework, platforms, and walkways.
3. Produce high-quality welds using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
4. Read and interpret technical drawings to carry out fabrication tasks with precision.
5. Collaborate closely with the team to meet project deadlines and ensure high standards of workmanship.

Person Specification:

1. Minimum five years of hands-on experience in fabrication.
2. Expertise in light and heavy sheet metalwork, structural, and architectural fabrication.
3. Ability to work confidently from drawings and utilise workshop equipment.
4. Prior experience working through agencies is an advantage.
