Our Warehouse Operation is a state-of-the-art, 2.5 million square foot Distribution Centre in Shirebrook, one of the most advanced warehouses in the UK. We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team, playing a key role in our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O WMS Project, transforming warehousing and fulfillment at Frasers.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Warehouse Development team, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced, ambitious environment, focusing on problem solving and creativity. Your role involves designing, developing, and implementing Dynamics 365 F&O solutions that integrate with our large-scale automated logistics and ERP/OMS/Back Office Systems.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with leads and architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions based on Dynamics 365 F&O and Microsoft Platform.
• Configuring and customizing Dynamics F&O modules relevant to supply chain management and retail.
• Developing custom solutions within Dynamics F&O using X++ and C# to integrate with other systems.
• Building applications and integrations using modern technologies like Azure, Power Platform, and Fabric.
• Designing and extending database functionalities using SQL Server, Oracle, and Cosmos DB.
• Implementing modern engineering principles such as microservices, API-first development, and event-driven systems.
• Maintaining technical documentation and participating in code reviews.
• Mentoring peers and driving technical decisions by staying updated with industry trends and platform capabilities.
• Supporting existing systems during platform transition and building necessary integrations.

We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days from home and 3 days in our Shirebrook office. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

What we are looking for:

• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills.

• Experience with agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.

Desirable skills include CI/CD tooling, Kafka, Power Platform, data migration tools, front-end frameworks, and Oracle PL-SQL.
