About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key team member, contributing to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main duties include:

1. Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales.
2. Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
3. Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
4. Fully satisfy customer needs regarding parts orders, returns, or queries.
5. Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contribute to positive team performance and work on personal sales benchmarks.
7. Utilise the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge.
8. Keep customer-facing areas clean and tidy.
9. Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
10. Represent the company professionally, maintaining a good image and adhering to company values.
11. Achieve relevant KPIs.

Working hours: Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday work.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
• Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive approach to customer queries with proactive resolution seeking.
• Confident IT and computer systems skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
