About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key team member, contributing to branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main Duties Include

• Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders, maximizing sales where possible.
• Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
• Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
• Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
• Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
• Contribute to a positive team environment while working on personal sales benchmarks.
• Utilize the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in customer-facing areas.
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
• Represent the company professionally, maintaining our values and appearance.
• Work towards achieving relevant KPIs.

Working Hours

Average of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
• Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive approach to customer queries, proactively seeking solutions.
• Confident in using IT and computer systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
