Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.

This role is office-based.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Join a product development team working on hardware products and security solutions.
  • Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom security products to meet partner needs.
  • Modify existing designs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to new product development.
  • Support and verify products, investigate defects, and contribute to library parts creation.

Training and Development: Training and support will be provided, including a training budget for external courses. Dedicate time to innovation and research.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Beneficial but not essential:

  • Qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering (2:2 or higher).
  • Experience with electronic schematic capture, PCB design, RF design, EMC, and signal integrity.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
