Amazon EU Network Design Programs team is responsible for getting Amazon packages to customers more reliably, faster, cheaper, and with a lower carbon intensity, while managing to grow the shipped volume by double digits every year.

As a Program Manager for Network Transformation, you'll lead programs driving strategic initiatives and solving recurring problems around delivery quality, speed, cost, and carbon intensity of the Amazon Transportation network. The scale of the impact will be on the entire European Amazon network, with lasting effects. Your goal is not just to solve problems once but also to build new tools and improve processes to ensure the problems stay solved, which is essential for the scalability of the Amazon Transportation Network.

Key job responsibilities

• Define frameworks to balance quality, speed, cost, and carbon intensity.
• Identify situations where trade-offs are not applied correctly, leading to inefficiencies.
• Build proofs of concept to address these issues.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Software Development to automate methodologies.
• Establish mechanisms for regular review of network gaps and suggest changes to maintain optimality.

About the team

Our team transforms how Amazon packages are delivered from warehouses to customers, improving quality, speed, cost, and carbon efficiency, all while managing double-digit volume growth. We prepare Amazon Transportation for peak seasons and resolve recurring issues to streamline the network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data to improve processes.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and automation.
• Experience in defining and executing program requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience delivering end-to-end projects and communicating results to leadership.
• Experience leading process improvements.
• Stakeholder management experience at various organizational levels.
