Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.

This role is office-based.

Responsibilities include:
  • Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Work within a product development team on hardware products and security solutions.
  • Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom security products.
  • Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product development.
  • Receive training and support, with a budget for external courses; dedicate time to innovation and research.
About You

To apply, you should have:

  • Experience in design and testing of analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • An understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Beneficial but not essential qualifications include further degrees in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering, experience in schematic capture, PCB design, RF, EMC, signal integrity, and knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
