Retail Security Operations Manager North of England & Scotland

Position Overview

Job Overview

The Retail Security Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the assigned area meets or exceeds budget and service delivery requirements. This involves ensuring all store portfolio officers understand and comply with Mitie policies, along with effective coaching and performance management to lead a retail security team.

Main Duties

1. Oversee security performance within a region by building, leading, and supporting a team of Security, Elite, and Tactical officers, demonstrating Mitie’s commitment to excellence.
2. Maintain and review Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments.
3. Advertise vacancies with appropriate agencies and manage recruitment and succession planning to meet coverage KPIs.
4. Provide training, advice, and support to officers, including system knowledge, policy awareness, appraisals, feedback, and performance management.
