We have an exciting vacancy for a Senior Practitioner Social Worker within Trafford Older Adult Mental Health Services, part of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will join our Multi-Disciplinary Team, which includes Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Community Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and STR workers.
We are seeking an experienced social worker to provide social work leadership and promote the vital role of mental health social work in delivering mental health care.
Your responsibilities will include working closely with service users experiencing serious and enduring mental illnesses, including dementia. A focus on social inclusion and recovery, helping individuals to live as independently as possible, is essential.
This role is office-based and requires a clean driving license and access to transport for travel around the borough. References covering the last 3 years, along with verification of employment gaps and relevant qualifications as per JDPS, will be required.
