About the Role

We are looking for a project officer to join our busy project and development team. The successful candidate will support our project managers in various technical aspects, including testing processes, reviewing customer data, and configuring systems. The ideal candidate will work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and have a logical, careful, and detail-oriented approach. Full training will be provided, including shadowing team members.

Our Client

They provide innovative software for municipal services such as waste, recycling, environment, street scene, and highways. They are a market leader, with 1 in 5 UK council waste departments using their systems, continually innovating in technology and services to meet future challenges.

Main Duties
  1. Write or review testing documentation
  2. Examine and check customer data before entry into the software
  3. Carry out testing and document results
  4. Liaise with project staff and developers regarding issues found
  5. Configure systems for customers
  6. Review and verify customer data
  7. Attend project meetings
  8. Write minutes of meetings
  9. Prepare agendas and relevant documentation
  10. Write Project Initiation Documents
  11. Update RAID and project plans
  12. Liaise with customers to provide project updates
The Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Previous testing or project office experience is advantageous
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
  • Experience working with local authorities
  • Experience with municipal waste companies
  • Experience delivering SaaS projects
  • Experience using Monday project management platform
