About the role

As a Relief Pharmacist with us, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening, providing expert advice, and reassurance. You won't be based at one pharmacy but will provide services across various locations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
  2. Making legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  3. Enhancing the pharmacy capabilities of store teams
  4. Conducting audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety
  5. Providing a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have

To succeed in this role, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to improve. Additionally, you will:

  1. Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  2. Demonstrate high professional expertise and be respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, and professionals
  3. Have a passion for community pharmacy and patient care
  4. Be collaborative and team-oriented
  5. Possess excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local/national services
  6. Be an effective communicator, able to meet diverse customer and patient needs
