Location: Warton

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 Per Annum (Dependent on Experience)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours Per Week)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our client's collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

The Occupational Health Nurse plays an integral role in providing compassionate, professional clinical services that are essential to the quality of care our clients receive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract, including wellbeing assessments, health promotion, advice and education, health surveillance, safety-critical medicals, travel health, travel assessments, vaccinations, D&A testing, etc., following DHC guidelines and written instructions.
• Provide professional advice, support, and guidance.
• Assess new clients presenting to Occupational Health.
• Evaluate individuals' fitness to work for their specific roles.
• Offer clinical assessment for clients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct health surveillance.
• Maintain clinical assessment skills in accordance with best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working within A&E or intensive care.
• Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation.
• Previous Occupational Health experience is preferable.
• Registered Nurse (Part 1).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health Diploma.
