This role supports a pipeline of projects across the UK, managing and overseeing all aspects of project delivery through to handover. The Junior Project Engineer role offers a competitive salary + bonus, company benefits, and hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Projects and liaise with Site Operations, H&S, and external contractors to oversee all project delivery aspects.
• Plan and manage projects alongside multi-functional teams, focusing on day-to-day operations.
• Control and supervise key project elements in line with timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate internal resources and vendors for flawless execution, driving continuous improvement.
• Monitor build progress and ensure project quality, regularly reporting to clients, stakeholders, and project managers.
• Manage risks to prevent delays or reputational damage.
• Ensure all necessary permits and legal documents are obtained.
• Travel to project sites as required to oversee activities.

Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience.
• Working towards or achieved Chartership.
• NEBOSH/IOSH qualification is desirable.
• 2-3 years proven experience in delivering projects successfully within timescales and budgets.

Personal Skills

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Graduate Engineer with the ability to create strategies and work well under pressure.
• Experience in projects within the organics waste, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil and gas, or food industry is advantageous.
• Civils experience is a plus.
• Flexible to travel and stay away as required.
