The Royal Ballet and Opera (RBO) is a world-leading arts organisation, based largely in the Royal Opera House - one of the world`s most celebrated theatres. The RBO is home to The Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera and The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.

This role is part of the leadership team for our Audiences and Commercial division (A&C) which houses our creative studios, content, production, broadcast, marketing, comms, digital product and commercial teams.A&C`s mission is to grow and diversify our audiences; finding new ways to tell our stories and driving brand reappraisal in order to deliver financial sustainability for the RBO.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and visionary creative leader, who can ensure all our creative assets are highly engaging and effective, as well as being the guardian of our brand - evolving our new brand identity (we moved from Royal Opera House to Royal Ballet and Opera in 2024). They will lead our creative studio (content, imagery, graphic design and AV) to deliver inspiring and innovative creative solutions that will supercharge our ability to achieve our mission.
The ideal individual will be able to show enhanced leadership, exceptional relationship building skills and credibility as a creative lead and leader. They will also need to be able to demonstrate key skills in the following areas:
