Job Description:
Supply Chain Manager – Dungannon
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Supply Chain Manager will be a key member of the operations leadership team. They will drive supply chain excellence and financial results while ensuring material flow to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy for Dungannon and Ballymoney sites.
- Build relationships with suppliers and senior stakeholders, assessing their effectiveness.
- Oversee the procurement process and supply chain activities.
- Drive change management across a wide range of suppliers.
- Manage the company budget effectively.
- Provide strategic direction and innovation in procurement and supply chain.
- Collaborate with Production Control, Materials, and Manufacturing Engineering for effective execution of Material Processing Operation System (MPOS).
- Generate year-on-year efficiencies by strategically managing the supply chain.
- Negotiate supply level agreements that deliver quality and on-time service levels, utilizing ERP systems (TMS-Oracle) and pull systems (PFEP).
- Manage the purchasing team to achieve optimum productivity, reviewing and developing KPIs for effective team performance.
- Lead material resourcing activities in coordination with Terex group strategic sourcing to drive competitive advantage.
- Prepare data and input for monthly site reports.
- Apply lean inventory management principles to improve turnaround and cash flow.
- Identify and fulfill all material requirements across sectors and regions.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Essential
- High understanding of procurement and supply chain roles within a global business.
- Minimum of a third-level education in supply chain, business, or related technical field.
- Hold a CIPS Membership.
- At least 10 years of supply chain management experience within the engineering/materials handling industry.
- Experience managing an S&OP process linking sales demands/forecasts with supply chain and operations capacities.
- Proven ability to motivate and coordinate teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Passion for supply chain excellence and continuous improvement.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong leadership towards quality, cost, and operational excellence.

- APICS Certification or CIPS membership.
