Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £47,516.01

Shift: MON - FRI NIGHTS - 10PM - 6AM

Location: Perry Barr

We are recruiting for a market-leading processing business that has an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a fully automated factory in Perry Barr. We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a factory/manufacturing background, who is multi-skilled with either a mechanical or electrical bias, and holds an engineering qualification.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and reliably. Your duties will include liaising with external contractors for maintenance and repair activities, reviewing and updating maintenance schedules regularly, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will also create and maintain pre-planned maintenance schedules for the automated facility. Additionally, you will deputise for the engineering manager when needed and mentor junior technical team members to support their development.
