Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend to planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates.
