Job description

An Amazing Career Opportunity for a Marketing Communications Manager !!

Location: Cardiff, UK

Job ID: 38298

As our Marketing Communications Manager for Europe, you will take ownership of developing and executing regional marketing strategies that drive growth across key European markets.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive marketer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and delivering real results — from strategic campaign planning to hands-on execution across the full marketing mix.

You will shape how our brand connects with diverse European audiences, ensuring messaging is locally relevant and delivered to market through coordinated, multi-channel activity — spanning digital, content, events, and PR.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing and allocating budgets, defining buyer personas, and setting program goals and success measures.

Working closely with global marketing, regional sales, centralized teams (brand, events, demand gen, marketing ops), and external agencies, you will co-design marketing activities that generate demand, accelerate pipeline, and strengthen brand engagement.

This is a fast-paced, varied role suited to a self-starter with strong B2B marketing communications experience, a digital-first mindset, and confidence in working collaboratively across functions to achieve shared goals.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

As our Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Build and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans and campaigns within the corporate framework, aligning with global marketing plans, sales goals, digital transformation initiatives, and annual budgets.
  • Develop and execute measurable country/region demand creation programs that drive leads and revenue through direct and indirect sales teams.
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and central resources in the strategic development and deployment of campaigns, PR, social media, content, events, value proposition messaging, and web/digital marketing programs.
  • Own the execution of demand generation, lead nurturing, and brand awareness activities across the region, with clear goals and KPIs.
  • Identify enablement gaps through ongoing analysis and business review sessions with key stakeholders; take accountability for creating, maintaining, and improving the readiness and marketing enablement process.
  • Localize and customize content for new product introduction deliverables based on developed positioning and messaging.
  • Manage marketing budget allocation and reporting for European campaigns.

What we will love about your background:

  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Your Experience and Education include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of B2B marketing communications, demand generation, or integrated marketing experience in European markets.
  • Industry experience in IT/security, SaaS, or similar high-tech sectors preferred.
  • Proven experience working with Sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional European languages are an asset.

What we can offer you:

  • Competitive salary and rewards package.
  • Competitive benefits and annual leave offering, allowing for work-life balance.
  • A vibrant, welcoming & inclusive culture.
  • Extensive career development opportunities and resources to maximize your potential.
  • To be a part of a global organization that is pioneering the hardware, software and services that allow people to confidently navigate the physical and digital worlds.
