Kitchen Assistant - Chartwells

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be a vital part of our team at Chartwells. This is a part-time position, contracted for 25 hours per week. Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday: Mornings
• Saturday and Sunday: Flexible or as specified

Please note: This role is contracted for 44 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring proper use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
• Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively at all levels
• Being an excellent team player
• Demonstrating organization, commitment, and a desire to succeed
• Working flexibly across shifts
• Exhibiting exceptional timekeeping and reliability
