A forward-thinking company is seeking a dedicated Guest Services Associate to enhance guest experiences through exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will assist guests with various requests, from login processes to reservation management, while promoting brand loyalty and awareness. Assist guests with login/join processes on social networks. Contact appropriate departments (Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems. Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling. Provide compliments or gifts such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates for guest patronage. Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally. Process redemption requests for Marriott Rewards points. Handle all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail. Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software during guest reservations. Respond to, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
Assist management in training and motivating employees; serve as a role model. Follow all company policies and procedures. Ensure a clean and professional appearance. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Express genuine appreciation to guests. Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Prepare and review documents accurately. Answer telephones with proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team efforts, and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns. Monitor team performance to ensure quality standards. Verify information visually in various formats. Move, lift, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
