Job description

A globally respected reinsurer with a deep presence across multiple international jurisdictions is seeking a Senior Manager - Risk Governance & Reporting to play a pivotal role in their evolving risk function.

This is a rare and highly strategic opportunity to sit at the centre of capital stress testing, risk appetite development, and enterprise risk oversight - with exposure to senior decision-makers across continents.

The role offers a diverse and impactful agenda, including:

  1. Ownership and enhancement of the enterprise risk management framework
  2. Leading the full-cycle CISSA process - from scenario development to internal capital analysis
  3. Supporting board-level reporting and risk governance for Bermuda-regulated entities
  4. Developing insightful MI for risk committees and refining KRIs
  5. Collaborating across global teams in London, Bermuda, and the US
Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified actuary (or equivalent risk professional) with:

  • 10+ years' experience in life insurance or reinsurance
  • Proven expertise in capital modelling, stress testing, and solvency frameworks
  • Familiarity with regulatory engagement (BMA experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills to influence and inform senior leadership
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to mentor junior team members
