We are currently recruiting for a HVAC Gas Engineer in Tesco Property Maintenance. This field-based role involves maintaining and servicing gas-safe systems across our retail estate. You will work closely with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, handling reactive and planned maintenance of commercial gas and HVAC systems. Your responsibilities include ordering parts and equipment and ensuring all work meets high standards.

• Following planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes, maximizing productivity
• Delivering high-quality work with continuous improvement
• Applying problem-solving skills to develop solutions for common issues
• Owning tasks from start to finish, informing stakeholders as needed
• Using mobile devices to update work progress and drive best practices
• Utilizing business systems for work order reporting and asset management
• Supporting KPI achievement through effective use of skills and systems

Requirements

• Full driving license
• Health & Safety awareness
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of Office 365
• Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Refrigeration and AC certifications (C&G 6187, 7189, 6090 or NVQ or equivalent)
• Heating & Ventilation certifications (C&G 7188, 6288, 6188 or NVQ or equivalent)
• Plumbing & Heating certifications (C&G 4467, 3345, 6189, 6035 or NVQ or equivalent)
• C&G 2079 - F-Gas and ODS regulations
• Core gas safety (CCN1, COCN1 & CODNCO1)
• Additional certifications as listed in original description
