In this role, you will be a results-driven, experienced, and highly adaptable Supply Chain Excellence Manager, leading change and aware of future industry trends. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the SCE function and supporting the Head of Supply Chain Management in defining, developing, and localizing the departmental strategy.

The Supply Chain Excellence function plays a pivotal role within SCM, taking ownership of and driving critical areas including Lean Manufacturing, Productivity enhancements, Engineering Change Management, Digitalization in Manufacturing, and Method Study.

As a key member of the SCM Leadership Team, you will serve as a role model for Siemens Healthineers Values and the Healthineers Performance System (HPS).

Responsibilities:
  1. Strategy Development: Define, develop, and localize the Oxford SCM strategy, supporting the global MR SCM strategy, providing a clear vision and strategic direction for the department.
  2. Value Chain Evaluation: Use benchmarking and value chain analysis to influence and drive state-of-the-art technology opportunities.
  3. Strategy Projects Implementation: Create project structures for flagship SCM strategies to translate strategy into results.
  4. Supply Chain Policy Development and Compliance: Work with the Global SCE team in Germany to implement regulations and procedures ensuring harmonization and compliance with standards and regulations.
  5. Goal Setting and Achievement: Set and execute departmental objectives aligned with Hoshin Kanri targets, collaborating across departments and with senior management.
  6. Team Management: Recruit, develop, and evaluate team members, fostering teamwork and a positive environment, and promoting leadership development.
  7. Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Reporting: Prepare innovative reports on activities, achievements, and challenges, aligned with digital automation vision.
  9. Data Analysis: Employ advanced data gathering and analysis techniques to inform decisions and improve business performance.
  10. Fostering Innovation: Promote a culture of innovation and incorporate new technologies and processes to improve efficiency.
  11. Digitalisation: Develop and set standards for IT system architecture within the team, aligned with the global digitalisation efforts.
  12. Healthineers Performance System: Develop a local HPS program in coordination with the global strategy.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Completed technical or business degree.
  • Extensive professional experience in manufacturing, including lean initiatives, engineering change management, and method studies.
  • Operational experience in strategy processes, leading or influencing strategy projects.
  • Knowledge of planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, digitization, and automation in a global context.
  • Well-connected in industry forums relevant to Supply Chain.
