Supply Chain Excellence Manager

Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology is seeking an exceptional leader to join us as a Supply Chain Excellence Manager. In this pivotal role, you will motivate and guide a team within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

In this role, you will be a results-driven, experienced, and highly adaptable Supply Chain Excellence Manager, leading change and aware of future industry trends. Your prime responsibilities will be to lead the SCE function and support the Head of Supply Chain Management in defining, developing, and localizing the departmental strategy.

The Supply Chain Excellence function plays a pivotal role within SCM, taking ownership of and driving critical areas including Lean Manufacturing, Productivity enhancements, Engineering Change Management, Digitalization in Manufacturing, and Method Study. As a key member of the SCM Leadership Team, you will serve as a role model for Siemens Healthineers Values and the Healthineers Performance System (HPS).

Your subject matter expertise will be instrumental in maximizing profitability and supporting the success of our established site in Eynsham, Oxford, as well as our cutting-edge Industry 4.0 production facility opening in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide a clear vision and strategic direction for the department, supporting MR growth while increasing productivity and resilience.
2. Lead through our People and Leadership Practices (PLP). Be an inspirational leader and coach to your team and the wider SCM organization.
3. Establish effective communication channels and collaborative networks with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to regular senior team communications.
4. Prepare regular, innovative, and professional reports on business and departmental activities, achievements, and challenges for the SCM team and senior management, aligning with our digital automation vision.
5. Develop core IT system architecture competence within the team, taking ownership and setting standards for SCM in collaboration with the global MR digitalization team.

Qualifications and Skills for the Role:

• Educational Background: A degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Professional Experience: Extensive experience in manufacturing, including driving lean initiatives, managing engineering changes, and applying method studies to improve efficiency.
• Strategic Leadership: Operational experience in strategic processes with a proven track record of leading or influencing key strategy projects. Strong analytical skills and a purposeful approach are essential.
• Supply Chain Expertise: Knowledge of planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics in a global environment, with a focus on digitalization and automation across the supply chain.
• Industry Connectivity: Active networking within supply chain forums and professional communities, staying informed of industry advancements and trends.
• Skills and Competencies: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a forward-thinking mindset and commitment to innovation.
