Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours available.

This role is office-based.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and testing electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Collaborating with a product development team on hardware products and solutions to enhance security.
  • Creating and maintaining electronic hardware for custom-designed security products for partners worldwide.
  • Modifying existing designs and working on new product systems with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participating in training, external courses, and dedicating time to innovation and research.

About You

To qualify, you should have:

  • Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • An understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Beneficial but not essential:

  • Further qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering, or a relevant degree (2:2 or higher).
  • Experience with electronic schematic capture, PCB design, RF design, EMC, and signal integrity.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
