Permanent - Part time - 21 hours per week

Salary £16.20 per hour

About the role

  • As a Hospitality Manager at MHA, you will develop the strategy for the catering, restaurant and housekeeping services within the site.
  • Managing the quality standards of the food production, housekeeping service and restaurant to ensure provision of first class services to residents.
  • To assist in maintaining in the teams the atmosphere and practice of care based on the Values of MHA
  • To be responsible for the management and supervision of catering, restaurant and housekeeping services to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
  • You will prepare, cook and serve meals for residents, visitors and staff daily, sometimes this may also include catering for ad hoc events within the home
  • To work closely with the Scheme and Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department and to ensure all agreed service levels are met.
  • Manage the rota for teams, including the allocation of holidays.
  • Work with the Home manager and residents, plan menus to provide nutritionally balanced and attractively presented meals, providing when necessary for any special diets, residents with dementia and ethnic minority groups

Brockworth House care home provides specialised care for up to 53 residents, supporting individuals with dementia and other mental health needs, including learning disabilities. Our skilled and compassionate team has extensive experience in creating a secure, respectful environment where each resident feels valued and supported.
