Job Description

We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at our Telford site. As Accounts Assistant, you will be working within the finance team, processing invoices for Group & 3rd party suppliers.

Job responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant include:

1. Processing of supplier invoices in SAP
2. Reconciling supplier statements
3. Processing of expenses
4. Internal and external query resolution for purchase invoices
5. General administrative/adhoc duties to support the finance team

Qualifications

As an Accounts Assistant, you will possess the following skills, experiences, and qualifications:

1. Ideally have experience on Accounts and Accounting software packages such as SAP, but not essential as training will be provided
2. To be professional and able to operate as a team player or individually as necessary
3. Ability to manage priorities and to work effectively and without direct supervision
4. Be confident in communicating and dealing with people on the telephone/in person/by mail at all levels both internally with colleagues and externally with suppliers
5. Conscientious and reliable
6. Flexible attitude and methodical approach to work/training/working hours
7. The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
8. Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines
9. Be proactive and able to make decisions
10. Proficient in Computer Literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
