Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in construction / surveying minimum 2:2 preferred.
  • Experience of managing security-related projects is desirable.

Our Role
Electricity North West delivers a range of Capital Construction and Refurbishment Projects. This role will manage and monitor and report the delivery of multiple construction projects within the Electricity North West property portfolio promoting safety and ensuring delivery to a high standard.

As a Construction Programme Manager your key accountabilities will be;

  • Maintain a robust document management systems relating to the flow of project documents
  • Manage and monitor the progress of construction projects improving efficiency
  • Creating new programmes in line with the strategic objectives with strong emphasis on security projects
  • Developing strong relationships with team members, consultants and contractors
  • Managing resources and ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Supervising and coordinating activities of the parties involved in the construction projects
  • Preparing reports on performance and progress in relation to the projects
  • Confirming successful delivery at the completion of projects
  • Ensure that safety is at the forefront of all projects
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
  • Knowledge of NPSA security guidelines and experience in managing physical security upgrade projects
  • Liaising with design teams, Architects and Surveyors and managing professional appointments in order to deliver construction projects
  • Stakeholder communication and management
  • Monitor and manage cash flow of all capital projects, reviewing value of work and financial forecasts
  • Maintain risk register to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Operate change control process for project changes

What we’re looking for

  • Min 5 years experience of programme management of construction projects (Essential)
  • Relevant degree in construction / surveying minimum 2:2 - (Desirable);
  • Experience of managing security related projects (Desirable)
