Stores and Logistics Administrator

Your new company
Hays is working with a renowned organisation in Telford that offers an exciting new opportunity on a permanent basis. This role is varied and based in brand new offices.

Your new role
As a Stores and Logistics Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Confirming the correct items and quantities to purchase orders and supplier delivery notes.
  2. Booking all items into stock via the Sage 200 Manufacturing system.
  3. Locating goods within the stores in designated locations.
  4. Recording stock adjustments and movements in and out.
  5. Assigning new stock and coding locations.
  6. Monitoring and managing Kanban stock replenishments.
  7. Monitoring stock overflow.
  8. Participating in quality audits related to the stores.
  9. Liaising with suppliers.
  10. Coordinating imports, exports, and shipments via air, sea, and land freight.
  11. Booking deliveries onto various courier systems.
  12. Generating and verifying shipping documentation.
  13. Ensuring correct INCO terms are applied to shipments.
  14. Providing customs import clearance instructions to customs agents.
  15. Monitoring and tracking shipments.
  16. Communicating with customers via email and phone to ensure smooth import/export processes.
