Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Please note: This role is contracted to 50 weeks per year.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other necessary duties
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Retail Supervisor will:

• Have previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Possess good communication skills with a focus on excellent Customer Service
• Be a team player with a can-do attitude
• Be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
