Job Title: Front of House Assistant

Location:

Farmer Copleys Farm, Pontefract, West Yorkshire

Salary:

From £12.21 per hour

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent (Day shifts), various days of the week – no less than 30 hours per week.

Farmer Copleys is a multi-award-winning Farm Shop, Café & Events business based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. We grow pumpkins, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, raspberries, blackberries, apples, and liquorice. We operate seasonal Pick Your Own experiences and host flower fields in spring.

Our on-site facilities include a farm shop, deli, butchery, bakery, café, dessertery, and production kitchen. We celebrate British food and farming, providing a welcoming environment for our customers.

Role Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Assistant with previous experience and barista skills to join our busy team. The role involves creating excellent customer experiences, serving food and drinks, and possibly participating in events.

Responsibilities:

1. Welcoming and serving customers with a smile
2. Delivering food and drinks to tables
3. Taking orders using an iPad
4. Clearing and cleaning
5. Creating memorable moments for customers

Ideal Candidate:

1. Knowledgeable and confident in customer service
2. Previous front of house experience
3. Barista experience (preferred)
4. Passionate about making people happy
5. Positive attitude and personality
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Energetic and enthusiastic
8. Willing to get involved in events
