Hours: 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure compliance with Veolia policies, Health & Safety procedures, and regulatory requirements (EPR, COMAH)
  • Conduct preliminary analysis of new enquiries and perform development/distillation lab work for samples
  • Monitor and record emissions data for air and water
  • Maintain QC & TFE laboratory facilities, including calibration, stores management, and housekeeping
  • Handle day-to-day laboratory operations, including incoming/outgoing feed, product, and waste
  • Update data analysis systems for records
  • Assist in generating and updating process instructions, blending recipes, and updating COSHH assessments

What we're looking for:

  • Relevant Science-Based degree/HNC
  • Experience with analytical equipment such as GC / GCMS
  • Knowledge of distillation is advantageous but not required
