Are you motivated by working as a part of a team?

Are you flexible and a quick learner?

If so, come and join our small and highly regarded team. Our team has grown, and we now need someone special to join and support us as we work across the whole of Social Care and Targeted Early Help Services in building on excellence and continuous improvement.

About the Role

The Service Progression and Sustainability Team supports Social Care and Targeted Early Help Services in the sustainability of new ways of working. The person we are looking for will provide support for the team by completing data entry and data quality activities promptly, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will provide a clerical response service for the Service Progression and Sustainability Team and support the team to meet deadlines and service standards.

No two days are the same working within our team as we respond to new challenges and ideas needed for the services. Consequently, you will also provide backup to colleagues across the Service Progression and Sustainability Team and assist in handling urgent work on a day-to-day basis.

A thirst for continuing professional and personal development is crucial to this role to ensure that your skills and knowledge are maintained and updated.

  • Be able to produce basic statistics related to service progression and sustainability on a regular basis, utilizing system reporting functions and other IT applications.
  • Undertake tasks quickly, accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard, to improve data quality by identifying duplicate, missing, or inaccurate records. Find additional information and input this as requested to support the work of the team.
  • Be able to prioritize your workload and work with minimal supervision, maintaining a flexible approach. Remain calm under pressure and use your initiative.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with employees at all levels while maintaining confidentiality. Previous experience in Children and Family Services is an advantage but not essential.
