PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for a motivated Production Manager to join a market-leading company in the UK. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility operates smoothly. This role is ideal for a strong manager seeking their next challenge within a secure and stable company.

Role Description

1. Promote and manage a health and safety culture across the site, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and guidelines, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
2. Ensure all products produced and leaving the site meet quality standards.
3. Maximize site efficiency and achieve production plans.
4. Operate within budget requirements and targets.
5. Collaborate with all departments to foster continuous improvement focused on reducing costs and enhancing quality.
6. Maintain high employee motivation through effective communication, supporting personal and work-related issues.
7. Lead projects that improve site performance and employee engagement.
8. Create and present performance reports to all levels of the organization.
9. Lead root cause analysis initiatives to resolve quality issues permanently.
10. Utilize KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements in production.
11. Manage material stocks effectively.
12. Ensure manufacturing compliance with standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all employees.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Proven leadership or managerial experience leading a team focused on manual processes.
2. Knowledge of company policies, legal guidelines, and health & safety regulations.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency with IT systems.
5. Strong background in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
6. Experience in driving successful improvement and change management projects.
7. Experience with root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions.
8. Ability to interpret and analyze KPIs and data.
9. Desirable: ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management, COSHH and risk assessment training.
