  • Carlton Colville Primary School - Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 8DG
  • £27,269 - £28,624 pro rata
  • 30 hours per week over 5 days, 39 weeks per year, term time plus 1 week
  • Fixed Term for one year in the first instance
  • Reference: 7421
  • Required as soon as possible

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. This post will include working closely with teachers to deliver whole-class and small group sessions. Initially working in either key stage 1 or key stage 2, you will need to have the skills to help the children they work with to thrive and the opportunity to be part of a genuinely inclusive, progressive school community.

You will need to:

  • hold an HLTA or equivalent qualification
  • have strong communication skills
  • have had experience of working in an educational setting
  • be flexible and happy to work as part of a team
  • be dedicated to helping all children to thrive
  • involve yourself in the life of the school beyond the classroom.
