Job Details

1. Job Title: Paralegal – Housing Disrepair (Litigation Team)
2. Rate: £27.00 per hour + (DOE)
3. Employment Type: Locum (initial 3 months with potential extension)
4. Location: Office-based twice per week, with flexible working arrangements
5. Team: Small but expanding legal team within a local authority setting

Responsibilities

1. Provide legal and administrative support to senior litigation lawyers, primarily focused on housing disrepair cases.
2. Assist in preparing and managing legal documentation, including court bundles and correspondence.
3. Undertake case planning and initial assessments under supervision.
4. Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and legal representatives.
5. Conduct legal research and maintain accurate case records.
6. Support in tracking case deadlines and ensuring timely progression.
7. Handle general administrative duties to support litigation operations.
