The Opportunity

As our Senior Software Engineer, you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by developing services and infrastructure for our global, multi-tenant SaaS platform.

You will cooperate with engineers across the product to deliver new, cross-cutting functionality and maintain existing systems. You will work with internal stakeholders to understand and specify product requirements. Additionally, you will become knowledgeable about cloud infrastructure and managed cloud services, writing and monitoring automated tests to ensure system functionality.

This role requires participation in an on-call rota to support production services, including out-of-hours support where required.

We have offices in London and Cambridge. Ideally, you will be within commuting distance of either office and be willing to come in three times a week. If you need more flexibility, please speak to us!

Day to Day

• Design and deliver new features following good architectural practices and industry standards
• Take a technical lead in project work, investigations, and feasibility studies
• Ensure the team's work aligns with the company's technical objectives
• Share responsibility for engineering operations within the team
• Promote good engineering practices among team members
• Lead development of cross-functional features with wide stakeholder impact
• Act as a point of contact for other teams
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the team's responsibilities and collaborations
